BUSINESS ASSOCIATION HIRES ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
Press Release: March 11, 2008

The Marlborough Business Association recently hired its first Administrative Assistant, Jessica Olander, who will work with the Board of Directors on public relations, membership, special events, and attend monthly meetings. “This is an exciting time for the Marlborough Business Association”, says president Donna Finocchiaro. “The addition of this position will allow the Board to move the business association into a new direction.” Ms. Olander holds a degree in Business Administration and has seven years experience working with non-profits. Her credentials best match the current needs of the Association and offers expansive knowledge and an enthusiastic approach.

The Marlborough Business Association (MBA) is a non-profit organization comprised of business men and women representing nearly 100 businesses in the Marlborough region. The MBA’s mission is to promote business growth, foster the overall economic climate in the community, and work toward an enhanced quality of life in Marlborough. The Marlborough Business Association works closely with town government, town boards and commissions to present the issues and concerns of the business community.
The MBA has a monthly meeting usually the third or fourth Thursday of every month, alternating between morning and evening meetings.  New members are welcome and Marlborough area businesses are invited to join the Marlborough Business Association. This is an excellent venue to present yourself to the community at large, fellow business owners, to add your voice to community organizations and to our local government. Visit the MBA web site at http://www.mba-ct.org for more information.
